Andrea Kaim and Martin Volk are organizing a session on stakeholder engagement in modelling for agricultural transformation at the next iEMSs conference in June 23-27 2024 in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, which is also of relevance for the OPTAIN project.
The session seeks for contributions on recent methods and applications of modelling/optimization approaches with strong stakeholder involvement that aim at solving real-world problems in agricultural landscapes. Submissions focused on applications are encouraged; they may be related to water and agri-environmental management, land use allocations, biodiversity protection, and the adoption of sustainable technologies and management.
Methodological advances may include, but are not limited to, game theory, evolutionary and hybrid algorithms, operations research, hierarchical optimization, or agent-based modelling. Have look at the conference website and / or contact Martin Volk.
